The newbie of Sandalwood town, 'Ashika Ranganath' never thought of becoming an actor and finally 'Crazy Boy' opened new doors for the bubbly young actress. Few questionaire of Ashika :

How did 'Acting' Happened ?

I never wanted to become an actor but yes now I am and I, am loving this profession. I had an intense love for classical dancing from my childhood and have always wanted to gain popularity as a dancer then 'Fresh Face Bengaluru' happened in my life and luckily I grabbed the 1st Runner Up Title in the year 2014. After that there was no looking back for me. We all were trained and given grooming sessions and my portfolio was also done at that time , that's when acting happened to me as director Mahesh Babu called me up for audition.

What did Ashika as a kid, aspired for years back?

From my childhood I, am into dancing and when I get on the stage it's like my dreamland. My sister have been a constant companion of mine in dance and she started with kannada television daily soaps earlier and encouraged me a lot to become an actor. My parents have always supoorted me into curriculums from childhood and have been with me in each and every decissions of my life. Very few people know that my grandfather was an actor and he was also part of Raj Kumar's film in his era.

What is your Debut film all about?

'Crazy Boy' is my debut film and I consider myself blessed to have got the oppurtunity to work with Mahesh Babu in my first film. It's a family love entertainer and my character in this film has a lot of colors and quite different shades of emotions are potrayed. We recently had our Audio Launch in the city and promotions are also in full swing now all eyes are on August release.

Which part of shooting Ashika enjoys the most?

It has been a very new experience for me all together, but I loved each and every song and dance sequence it was as if my feets used to wait to dance. So I really enjoyed the shooting and being with all great people around me was really a special experience that can't be put in words.

Whom do you idiolise the most?

Radhika Pandit has remained my personal favourite from a long time as I love her performace and the very fact that she has always done different roles all throughout and is a very versatile actor.

What are you planning next?

I am currently pursuing my B.com , so will complete my graduation and also have plans for higher studies. Along with my education I will have to balance my entertainment world and I guess I will be able to manage both. Till then I want everyone to encourage newcomers and will kindly ask my audience to come and watch 'Crazy Boy' in theatres in August.
